gps and user aircraft trails

I have just installed plan g and am learning how to use it . I get it running ok but I cannot get the gps route line on the map, also the trail of the aircraft. What setting do I have to change?

1. I'd recommend working through the tutorial in the manual.

2. Make sure you have Show Trail for User Aircraft ticked in Options.
