Version 3 and KML?

I just had a quick look at the v3 manual: cool! I wondered about KML though: since Plan-G is switching to OpenStreetMaps, will KML still work...? I thought that was a Google-only feature? I use KML a lot to make sure I am planning a flight within certain area's.

BTW I really like this function: "RADIAL menu allows you to click on multiple VORs or NDBs and display specified radials from them for easy identification of intersections."

Yes v3 uses local code  to read KML files. The advantage is that they no longer need to be hosted on a server
