no yellow aeroplane

Hello all.

I have both v2 and v3 of this wonderful program.  V2  works brilliantly but I cannot get the yellow aeroplane to show in v3, I have tried search, and FAQ, but nothing shown, so I have to turn to you all to help me.  I have never been any good at configuring software so this is where I suspect the problem lays.

Could someone please give some suggestions to check.

Hello Jim,

can you confirm that when you press the "Connect" button it turns gray and the "Disconnect" button becomes "colored" (so it's no more grayed-out)?

PS: do you use FS, FSX or X-Plane?
