v0.8.1.388 slow map redraw - often doesn't even work!

I find this version's map redraw much slower and often times it gets stuck. The icons are shown but not the map itself. Don't know if it is related to a connection issue to Google but I did not have this issue with the previous version. This happens to often an din zooms from the middle to the slider and up. Have you seen this issue? Or is it me? Makes it unusable.

Note: This happens with Terrain. Seems Satellite and Hybrid options work fine.

After posting I see Andre's message. Seems to me it's the same issue he's reporting.

I'm having exactly the same problems as Alex.  No (or partial) map displaying in 'Terrain' view.  Previous version was perfect!  ???

Now OK!  Looks as though it was a Google problem.  Doh ...   ::)

I too cannot get the Terrain map.

Zoom 1-5 ok, but from 6 nothing, just the airways on an empty page.

All other settings work.

Previous version was the same.
