NETframework VER 4

I have installed PlanG ver 3 on a fresh harddrive and it comes up saying to install NETframe ver 4.
I looked into windows and I have it installed aready.Window 7 64 bit
Why is this program asking me to download and install it?

The program may not be checking if you have it.  Just ignore the issue, that's what I did.
If it turns out you do not have it (as many people yet don't), these are just the Net4 runtimes. You can reinstall Plan G or get the runtimes from Microsoft. NBD.

To install ver 2 instead now overtop of ver 3 is it a matter of just uninstalling ver 3 from windows control panel and then running setup file for ver 2

I keep up to date with windows updates and it makes me a little nervous when software maybe does not see what is installed.

Yes I just did an uninstall of Ver3 and went back to Ver 2, installed perfect.

You shouldn't need to uninstall - they are effectively different products and can exist quite happily side by side.
