I was using Plan-G for a couple of months, when suddenly it started crashing on launch. Never get past the main splash screen.
Suddenly pops up "Plan-G encountered a problem and must close."
I've deleted it and reinstalled, to no avail, even repaired .Net.
I have it installed on a networked PC with WinXP, connected through Simconnect (worked also with WideFS).
There was an update to my XP immediately before it started going bonkers, but dont know if that was the problem.
It works fine on my Win7 machine, but I prefer to keep it off the main FSX computer. As I said, it was working perfectly until a day or so ago.
Any suggestions?
It doesnt seem to run long enough to generate an error log file.

Thanks

Duh, figured it out. Seems like everytime I reinstalled Plan-g, I would copy the database over from the laptop. Then once, I didnt have the laptop running, and, voila, the program worked. Copied the database over... crash. So, it seems the database files were corrupted. Will rebuild.

Dang, this is perplexing. Crashing again.
If anyone out there is listening.....
It ran a couple of times last night. which led me to believe it was finally fixed; crashing again this morning. Thought it was the database or maybe network; deleted all, kept laptop off... all was well.
I guess Im just going to give up and try to find a commercial flight planner. Guess it's just one of those addons that I cant seem to fly without. Plan-g was perfect, yes perfect, but alas, it is no  more.
