User Waypoint airfield symbol

I appear to have a problem with adding user waypoints with the airfield symbol. All other symbols appear when I use them but not the airfield symbol. The data is added to the database but the symbol will not show on the map. Anybody able to help with this please ?

It is the "AIRSTRIP" symbol I am referring to.
