Plan-G on WIN8 tablet PC

Hallo,

I am using the ASUS vivo tab tablet PC running WIN8.
Plan-G works ok, but really slow, I think because of the high resolution maps.
As you can imagine, a small tablet doesn´t have a powerful graphic chip.

Well, is there any possibility to run Plan-G smooth on a tablet PC?
Are there any experiences?

Thing is, I don´t know what to do without Plan-G... :-(
