Hallow again,

using XP & fsx sp1/2, .Net Framework v4.0 & FSXFSUIPC4 are installed & data are build in both PGv2/v3 & both installed in one of my partitions.

1. The fsx flight plans (in My Documents) do not open up in PG3, they open in PG2.

2. Neither PG2or PG3 connect with fsx. The V2 says " (timeout) check protocol settings correct", how do I check if they are correct & if not correct how to fix them?.

3. Should either PG versions work in Win8?, I cannot make them do.    ....thanx     ....nick

1. Right click a .pln file, select -> Open with -> Choose Default program. Then check the "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" and browse to your Plan-G v3 folder.

2. Make sure your IP addresses and port numbers are correct, you have the appropriate protocols installed if you are using IPv6, you have FSX service Pack 2 if you are using SimConnect, and look in the log for signs of errors.

3. Far as I know. I don't have Win8, but I'm not aware of any problems.
