DOT NET 4.x (again)

Hi Tim,

The day before yesterday I got in trouble again as a ATI driver-update (to be exactly the "Catalyst Control Center") obviously requires .NET 4.5 and it even does not allow to deselect its installation. I tried out a sort of mixture with new drivers but an old Catalyst. However, this messed up completely my system and I had to run a system restore point (fortunately I had set one before). Windows Update handles the later version as being safety critical and wants to install it as well and I'm afraid that more and more peaces of other software are depending on it.

I'm still looking for hints to circumvent the obvious existing incompatibility with .NET 4.5 but I'm just clueless how I could do this.
