Hi, I love this program and it is a great idea but the latest version is very frustrating to use. It lags alot when the program is ran by itself and the map stutters when it is dragged. It takes up my computer's resources as well. Causes major framerate problems for my sim. I was using v2 for a long time until Google was not supporting it anymore. Please provide a fix to this problem.

Can you give details of your machine specs, exactly how you are using Plan-G on it, and what you do in both FS and Plan-G? This is not a previously reported problem, so without further detail I have no idea what may cause your problem or why.

Hello, I'm a new user and I still need to figure out a lot about this program, but this sounds like the same problem I'm having, Heavy extra load on my computers CPU and RAM resources, so much that P3D runs OOM after a few minutes flying. Stuttering movement of the map in Plan-G and lag on the zoom function and I also notice that marking from some helipads dont disappear when I zoom out and these are all addon helipads, most from NL2000 and one from an FTX EU airport.

My specs are:

Processor: Intel i5-2310 @ 2,9Ghz
Ram: 6GB
OS: Windows 7 64bit with .NET framework 4.5.1
Graphic card: GTX550Ti 1024MB
P3D v1.4 ran from seperate SSD harddisc
FSUIPC v4.9
REX4 TD
FS Global for FTX
FTX Vector
FTX Global Base + some airport packs
NL2000
Saitek Proflight controllers: Yoke/Throttle, Rudder pedals, Trim wheel ran with Saitek drivers and radio/switch/instrument panel, ran with SPAD 0.5

P3D and Plan-G ran from single computer, through FSUIPC connection.

Hope this information helps.

Program looks absolutely awesom, by the way! Hope to get it running properly soon, I've been looking for something like this for quite some time. Great job Tim!  :D

Update: I did a test by installing the 3.0.2 version and this one seems to have the same problems, so it's not 3.0.7 specifically.

What if you connect through Simconnect?

Same thing happens Tim with the SimConnect on.

Try turning off things in Plan-G, -- external weather, different map overlays, FS traffic, the complete FS connection eye --  and see if you can identify what exactly is causing your slowdown.
