Plan-G and AI Aircraft (what's it really supposed to show)?

I ran the sim with the map with AI Traffic turned on.  I see AI planes indicated as red on the taxiways of the airport I'm taking off from.  However, the map will not show them taking off, nor when I set their bread crumb trail to be turned on, will they display their trails.

Am I doing something wrong?  Thanks.

Have a look in Settings - there are checkboxes to govern whether Plan-G shows traffic in the air, on the ground, or both.

It's the CIA, they're after you! ;)

Seriously, if you're using  a multiplayer system (FSInn, FSHost etc), your own aircraft sometimes gets fed back as if it's an AI. It then shows up like an echo that follows you. There is something you can do in FSInn etc to stop it, but I don't recall what it is .
