Hallo fellow flightsimmers,
For some times I use Plan G to make my flightplans.
I have a problem to start my plan on an airstrip (sailplane or ultralight) not in the standard database. How can I get there and start my tour?
Landing on an airstrip is no problem and starting from there neither. But starting your plan on an "unknown" airstrip!! what a problem... :D

thanks for your future help.

It's possible - start your plan from somewhere else, make your strip the next waypoint, then delete the start location.

But such a plan will not open in Flightsim (which is why I don't make it easy to start there)

Kees, probaly this strip has neither a proper ICAO Code and name nor some internal requirements to set your aircraft there. The first topic is essential and if this is fulfilled you need either at least one proper Start location or some sort of parking place. I don't know where you got the airport from but, if you want to help yourself, you might want to install the "Airport Design Editor", a wonderful freeware allowing you to add the missing items (even if the place doesn't have an ICAO code you just could invent a non conflicting plausible one).

Just backup the old BGL and bake your new version. If there are objects you are missing afterwards you even can import them from the original BGL. In case of questions, the forum is here: http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/forums/airport-design-editor.95/.
