I have installed the latest version of Plan G, but was unable to get Plan Elevation working.  FSX and Plan G are not installed in the default location, but in a separate partition.  Finally tracked down the empty DEM folder in C ....' documents etc ... Copied in the DEM files and now it works, but my C drive is close to the overload point.

Is there any way that the DEM folder could be rte-located? Thanks

If you are using Windows 7 or later, you can set up a virtual folder, and relocate them to anywhere you like on your PC (you can also do this for things like Orbx scenery, which insists on a fixed install location)

See http://superuser.com/questions/373315/windows-7-virtual-folders for how to do it.

but basically

1. Move (not copy) the folder and all its contents to its new location (e.g. C:\stuff\DEM to D:\DEM)
2. Open a cmd prompt as administrator
3. Type the command mklink /J oldfolder newfolder

Windows will create a link in the old location to the new location, so that when you open C:\stuff\DEM, you're actually opening D:\DEM.
