It seems a loading problem: you see just one tile in different color. Have you tried to change the map provider in the Options? (I'm not saying that's a solution... just a check). Then you could try to use the "Internet only" (not the cache) option - sorry if I'm not more precise, but I don't have Plan-G in front of me now.
