Difficulty Connecting With FS2004

Hi: I have FS2004 installed in the default directory as shown in the attached screen shot, but am unable to display the data...When I attempt to compile the database, the system goes by really fast (maybe 2 seconds) and nothing is created...Can someone advise me as to what I might be doing wrong? Thanks a lot...
