Plan G will not Open or run.

Downloaded and installed plan G today. Followed the installation instructions exactly as written. Now getting an error message: "Plan G-3 has stopped working and needs to close"! System specs are as follows:

Win7
FSX Acceleration
Registered FSUIPC
Intel Core i5-4670K@3.40 GHz
16.0 G RAM
NVIDIA GE Force 660
726 GB Free on HD
Direct X 10

If Plan-G fails to start, it's almost always a problem with DotNet (4.5 on Windows 7). Check that all the service patches have been applied.
