X-plane database fails. Log "unable...disk IO"

Using version 124, building X-plane database hangs on the 1849797 aprons (can't really blame the poor thing). Log file shows "Unable to successfully execute disk IO on the file system" at that point.
My computer is not sleeping at the time and as far as I know I don't have any failed sectors on the Hdd.

Any ideas?

Thanks.  Love the program but after almost 3 decades of MSFS I may be moving to X-Plane and still want to use Plan-G.

Please attach the log if you still have it. Not sure it'll show anything though, a disk IO error means pretty much what it says.
