Hello,

First off, great program and thank you much.

Quick question. Using version 3.1.2 (I think) under Windows XP.

Is there anyway you could implement a night mode to darken the screen for flying at night. We use PlanG in an actual flight simulator and its quite bright at night. Thanks for any help and thank you again for a great program.

Ok, I'll look into that.

Make that two customers who would love a night vision toggle of Plan-G. Getting the default OpenStreetMap to go dark may be the real issue.
Maybe payware 3rd party maps have an option. Still if possible it would raise the bar making Plan-G the "must have" moving map for X-plane
night operations. There will be a dozen YouTube videos showing it off! :)

Here are XP-11/Plan-G_3.2.0.144 two monitor examples. The night version is just a negative image created in a photo editor for effect.

There was a provider once that had a night map, but they stopped doing free tiles, unfortunately. It's probably something that can be got from a pay subscription, such as MapQuest, which comes with map editors. It might also be possible to invert tiles as they come in from the server, as you did with your example.
