blacking out problems

Sorry I posted this in the wrong place.
I am tearing my hair out. I use FSX SE with PlanG 3.2 and Windows10. I can fly pmdg 737 with few problems. I can link PlanG to it and the a/c appears correctly. However when I need to look at areas of the map away from the aircraft I click and drag the map ( with the link set to 'free') and immediately the whole screen goes black for a few seconds, as soon as I continue again it blanks the screen. I have had my computer in for repair as I imagined it was a hardware problem. It has checked out with no problems.Can anyone out there help me please - I am becoming so frustrated I feel some days I should just forget about using Flight Simulator altogether. :(

Do you have the Plan-G covering part of the FSX window? If so, that's probably why, although it generally doesn't make the screen go black. You should also check that your graphics card drivers are up to date - an equally likely cause.
