We are excited by the announcement of the upcoming launch date for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator.

We will be adding full support for it in Plan-G v4 as soon as we can get hold of the SDK and a final release copy of the sim.
Of course we shall continue to support the current simulators: FSX/FS9, P3D, and X-Plane.

More news when we have it!

Stay safe.

Update: You should be able to connect to MSFS 2020 via either the FSX or P3D Simconnect, and also through the beta FSUIPC 7 (and WideFS if installed). This was tested in the current 3.2.2.

You'll still need to wait for v4 before you can build a database, but you can use your existing database with the usual caveats about missing/displaced facilities.

A tip to improve SimConnect stuttering: In Options / Traffic, turn off Show Moving and Show Parked. This will massively reduce the amount of SimConnect messaging, particularly in busy areas, and improve performance as a result.

If you're flying multiplayer, MSFS does not currently broadcast multiplayer traffic (only AI), so you won't see each other in Plan-G anyway.

The V4 Alpha board is now open to all logged in members. v4 includes support for P3Dv5 and MSFS.
