I've planned a route in Plan-G and tried to export (top box selected) to the MSFS folder but when I select load in MSFS there's no plan as it's been saved as a .pln file there's no option to save it as a .plg or a .flt file, cantell me where I'm going wrong please.

Thank you

"autoexport" is the name Plan-G gives to a plan after you cancel the export (basically because it thinks something went wrong. You can still save it with a new name though.

MSFS will open any pln file in any folders (it's a standard file open dialog...), with the exception of accented characters in the path or filename. MSFS reallydoesn't like accented characters.

So far you've shown me a screenshot of a folder with a .pln in it. From what I can see, there's no reason MSFS should not be able to find it and open it. Can you show me a screenshot from inside MSFS, where it can't see the file? Thanks.

Hi Tim,
Appreciate your help and as requested I've attached the MSFS folder with the plan that was saved.

Does your plan have a destination? It's not shown in the filename. If it doesn't go to an airport, MSFS will probably not load it (neither would FSX or P3d).

There's no airport just waypoints as it was just a scenic route, so that was the problem then, not having a destination airport.
