Almost all buttons grated out

Hi All,

I just installed plan-g, built the FSX DB, downloaded the DEM files.

Everything has gone well, but when I run the program in teh flight plan ribbon I see active only the Airspedd button and the Winds button.

I'm working on vista 32bit regularly updated.

Any idea and/or hint?

I hope this is not a silly question  :-[

Many of the buttons only become active once you have a start and end point in your flight plan -- without these things the buttons don't have any function.

many thanks for your reply.

I have been a little criptic in my post, even the start place button is grayed out.

The map is working fine but I cannot specify a starting point.

I'm afraid I missed something in the manual... shame on me :-)

Yes. The start place only specifies the gate/parking spot at your departure airport. Until you have a departure airport it can't do anything. Right click on your departure airport on the map and select start plan at... See the manual section 7, "Flight plans" for how to continue creating a flight plan.
