Plan-G 0.9 will not connect to fsx

Having installed version 0.9 of G plan it will not connect me to flight simulator FSX. When I try to connect after a delay I receive a message UNABLE TO CONNECT TO REMOTE F/S (timed out)
CHECK FS IS RUNNING AND YOUR PROTOCOL SETTINGS ARE CORRECT.FS is running and settings are the same as previous version which when re installed works perfectly.Thank you for any help Melvyn Kirk

I cannot find the Global Options FS connection tab in the menu .
I see no Options menu in Plan G  v9.
I work with W7 and have a registrated FSUIPC
