Hi folks,

it makes me a bit wonder, but on my system (WIN7 Prof 32bit, FS9) Plan-G uses a lot of memory, when in use. In average it loads up to 180MB of physical memory, slowing things down on with me. Sometimes it even forces FS9 to close. Is that a normal state or is that just with my config?

There is potentially a lot of data displayed in Plan-G, depending on where in the world you are looking, what overlays you have selected, how big your window is etc, and Plan-G will cache data too, so it will depend also on how much you move around. So you could end up with a lot of memory used, yes. Unchecking Map Overlays in the Show/Hide tab will have the effect of clearing the caches, which may  help things.
