Please post the log file (Plan-G_Log.txt) and we'll take a look.

Hi, just seen the latest version, have downloaded it. and as before it does not work. On rebuilding the database i came across an error message which i have had previously.

Unknown name. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80020006
(DISP_E_UNKNOWNNAME))

I have attatched a copy of the log from this database build.

upon reopening of the product, the log states

10:22:52 PlanG constructor
10:22:52 executableFolder: G:\Plan-G\Plan-G
10:22:52 Starting Plan-G, build 0.9.1.423
10:22:52 FSX is installed
10:22:52 FSX database is built
10:22:52 Selected data set is FSX
10:22:57 Starting map
10:22:57 Initialisation complete.

as before, no map is visable.

thanks

Plan-G runs as a 32-bit app. So the fact that you can't access Google Maps from 32-bit IE8 strikes me as being significant. I don't really have any idea what could cause that, but I shall google around and see what comes up...

yes i guessed it was a 32 bit app. thanks, am currently trying to get microsoft to fix it, but they seem to be having problems...

Runs fine here on IE8 32bit, always has done from day one.
