Hi all,
Having setup Plan-g on a network computer I can get it to connect to FS9 on the other computer. The problem is I get a message to update FS9 or FSX data , as I only have FS9 both icons in the data are greyed out and a message tells me I am connected to FS9 but FSX data is loaded and to make a database for FSX.

best regards

You will need either to build the database on the FS PC and copy it across, or map your FS folders so that they can be seen and accessed from the network.

Hi Tim,
Ran G-plan on the FS9 computer and created database no problem, copied to memory stick and overwrote the files on the other computer. After connection was made loaded a flightplan I had created in FS9 before I had heard of your programme and the plan was followed on the moving map. I had downloaded  two files for the DEM folder, I take it that there is no seperate files for each simmulator? I thought at first that could have been the problem. The original message still tells me FSX data is loaded and to create a database for it. As I have said the bits I have used are working although I have still to spend time to learn.

Thanks for prompt reply

Tim,
Forgot to say I get the FSX message after I hit the "connect" button in the FSUIPC area.

Hi Tim,
I think the reason for the programme loading FSX scenery is I have installed "Howards mix" his programme replaces the default scenery with enhanced FSX scenery. Apparantly he had been perfecting it for three years so at least on my computer there is no problems except the message, which really isn't a  problem as everything loads as it should be.
