I'm calling this build the pre-beta, since there's been quite a lot of changes over the last month or so, and I'd like to establish a degree of confidence before calling it, as it were.

Changes since build 350:

  • App Menu options dialog replaces RibbonDialogLaunchers (deprecated by MS)
  • VRP 'user data' preserved between sessions for add/edit dialog
  • Fixed Edit user waypoint context menu missing if no flight plan
  • Fixed AI plane sometimes overlays user plane
  • Fixed Distance next waypoint/Distance to dest calc showed KMs not nautical miles
  • Fixed Waypoint reached calculation sometimes wrong (potentially ongoing on case by case basis!)
  • Added Status Bar
  • Added GPS Panel
  • Added options tab for GPS panel
  • Changed text field background colour in editable dialogs
  • User Waypoint dialog now has better tooltips
  • Fixed some context menu insonsistencies for user waypoints
  • Added Note on user waypoint dialog to say elevation is optional
  • SimConnect now retrieves Turn Rate and Vertical Speed values
  • GPS Panel options stored in registry (Max ASI etc)
  • Fixed mouse cursor not always correctly restored by some dialogs
  • Vor, Ndb, airport etc icons replaced by natty new ones from Andrew Sambrook
