Initially I had problems connecting Plan G to FSX but after installing FSUIPC4 that was cured. When connected the map does not move to the aircrafts location and if I move the map myself there is no yellow aircraft or dust trail. But if I use Plan G for x-plane all works well. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, attached log file to help.

Looks like it's producing an error when it tries to talk to FSUIPC. I'll need to investigate that further. Might take a few days.

Ok, I can't find any reason why it shouldn't be working. the question I have for you is: what is your date/time set to in FSX? (since this is what's failing: - year + day number). Try setting it to something else.

I have been using the real world date and time. I will give it a go trying past and future dates and time.

Hi Tim, thanks for your help. But I will own up to my light bulb moment. Since I had my new laptop I have nor used FSX much and only went back to it last week. I forgot that I had not yet installed the 2 service packs. What an idiot I am. Sorry to waste your time. A sign of Old age I am afraid. Regards
