Hello,

I love this product and now I'm trying to getting running on a different PC to avoid having to switch out of FS. I'm using FSUIPC and seem to be able to connect OK in that my aircraft position and AI aircraft show up and update correctly and the GPS Panel also syncs correctly. When I go to build the database, though, the "Build FSX Database" button is greyed out. I can't see airports, beacons, airspace or the current flight plan. Help appreciated!

Thanks

You will need to set the folder locations for your FS install in Options. Beware though, unless your FS drive is mapped across the network in exactly the same way as it is locally (e.g if your FS is installed to E:\FSX, then the laptop needs to see it mapped as E:\FSX), Plan-G may well not be able to locate all your addon scenery, since the cfg often uses absolute file paths. You may find it easier to build the database locally and then copy it across to the other PC.

I've gone with the second solution, and copied Plan-G.mdb, MEF.mdb, VRP.mdb and AirspaceX.dat to the second computer. With the flight plan folder shared, it now works exactly like on the FSX PC.

Many thanks!

In v2, the filenames are slightly different, but the principle works the same.  :)
