How can I create cross references for a user-defined waypoint?

Plan-G won't let me create x-refs for the OZx airstrips! which is unfortunate because they are often hard to find otherwise )

that is, navaids (VORs/NDBs) list (in the appropriate dialog window) is empty for such waypoints.
