I am currently beta testing AntarcticaX and found that the airfields are showing up in the FSX airports list and as well in Flightsim Commander 9. Does Plan-G read the datafiles differently, or why would this be?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, a couple of times. I always rebuild the database with any new scenery install.

In that case, does the Plan-G log file show any errors when it builds the database?

I don't get any errors, at least none are shown.

I have attached it.

Sascha Norman from Aerosoft asked me to attach a file for your attention. Is there a reason why Plan-G does not read the information?

That file builds and displays fine.

Please look in your log file after you build the database. You should see a series of entries something like this:

09:13:49.8 Scanning folder C:\Plan-G Test Files
09:13:49.8 Checking: AF2_AQ71.bgl
09:13:49.9 Decoded file: AF2_AQ71.bgl Apts: 1 Vors: 0 Ndbs: 0 wpts: 0 Approaches: 0 Bdys: 0

with an entry for each afcad.
Please look and confirm that is what you have, or if not, does it show any errors?

Thanks for your reply. I checked the logfile and found that none of the Aerosoft sceneries are listed.

folder location is s:\Games\Flight Simulator X\Aerosoft\AntarcticaX\

the entries in the scenery.cfg are correct. FSX and also Flightsim Commander do pick up the scenery.

I analysed the log file and found these entries:

18:24:18.0 FS directory is: S:\Games\Flight Simulator X\
18:24:18.0 Registry cfg path: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX\Scenery.cfg
18:24:18.1 Scanning Scenery.cfg (C:\Users\ehaberkorn\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\Scenery.cfg)

my up to date scenery.cfg is located in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX\Scenery.cfg and NOT in C:\Users\ehaberkorn\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\Scenery.cfg

Could that be the reason for the missing entries?

That sounds plausible. It should normally pick the correct path automatically, but you can set it in Options.
