HelloAll.

I'm sorry to ask such dumb questions, but when your brain is only the size of a pea in regards to computers, you have to ask for help.

In the manual, which I've read and re-read it states that FSX should be started first.  Is there anything I should do with FSX when starting it up e.g select plane etc etc and can I use REX as my weather engine.

One last question should I use 'pipe' with my computer ( the one I use has W7 HP, GTX570oc, and is quite powerful).

Thank you for your understanding,
Jim.

ps: I have only seen this program running once and it looks so good I just got to get it working on my computer.

No, there's nothing you have to do in FS before starting Plan-G.
You can use whatever weather engine you choose; REX is fine.
Pipe should be okay, provided Plan-G and FS are running on the same computer.

Hope that helps :)

Tim, not only do you give quick concise explanations but you give people like me who are not computer savvy, great confidence. Without doubt one of the best forums I have had the pleasure of being a member of.

Many many thanks,
Jim.
