Hello my friends,
I fly FS2004 and I like to fly it without GPS. I like IFR and navigate around VOR's and NDB's. And for this I found FSnav or FScommander very weak. For me a software for flight planning is just that...print out a piece of paper you take on the plane.
Plan-G is fascinating and is exactly what I was looking for.

My problem is that the most valuable functionality for me, X-Refs, is not working. I have seen it working only on one of my waypoints which is an NDB. Then the list of surrounding VOR's shows up and that is really fascinating. But when I try to use X-Refs from a waypoint that is a mere intersection....nothing is listed. I want to navigate the real airways where intersections rule, but I want to know I arrived each one via cross-referenced navaids.

So far I am "bypassing" my problem using QDM to get manually bearings and distance to choosen VOR and putting it down on Notes. But X-Refs would be infinitely better.

Plan-G: v 2.0.5.493
OS: Vista
FS: FS9

Any help from you experts ? The manual is very good but assumes that X-Refs are listed....

Hello again,
The case I reported happened with an imported PLN flight plan. It DOES NOT happen in a fresh new PLG flight plan.

If you want to keep any cross-references you set up, you MUST save it as a .plg file - Plan-G-specific features cannot be saved in an FS format file.

This is very, very odd, and I could not yet detect a pattern.
Today I am opening 2 PLG files. In one I can use X-Refs, with no problem,  on the other they simply are not listed....
I will post further news but, please, let me have clues if available...
Cheers
