If you have X-Plane 9 or 10, and a collection of flight plans in FMS format, I'd be interested to hear from you. I'm looking for as many FMS files as I can get hold of, for testing purposes in the new version of Plan-G.

If you'd like to send me some plans, or even be involved in testing PG3 with X-Plane, please send me a message.

Thanks :)

Edit: I've got enough testers for the time being, thanks.

Hello Tim,

As a X-Plane 10 user I am looking forward to your version 3 plan G.
I have not tried the FMS yet in XP-X but ran across this site that may meet your requirement for many FMS plans.

http://flight-plan-database.tk/#

Some 19000 listed.

Also while I am on here, a wish list for V3 would be a ILS altitude intercept point (as listed in charts) maybe that could appear
in the ILS pop-up window.

I was also wondering how your airport data might be updated, maybe you could use this:  http://data.x-plane.com/
but it may be X-plane specific, I do not know.

Thanks for a great program.

Regards,
Chuck

Tim,
As an addendum to the above post;  Loaded up the KIWS-KISM flight plan into the FMS (Avanti P180) and everything working well so far.

Thanks for the link. Yes, PG3 will read X-Plane's nav data files. :)

Hi there,

I've not used Plan-G at all yet, but I've been using X-Plane 9 for a few years. Although I've never used the stock FMS, and I only use the stock GPS when the aircraft is using it as a radio tuner and DME display. I came here after one of the Plan-G v3 beta testers asked for help on the x-plane.org forums. I prefer to fly older, pre-electronic aircraft, tuning radios and adjusting the autopilot heading myself. I'm not one of the Children of Magenta (I tried to link to a video, but the forum embedded it. Search YouTube for 'Children of Magenta', it's a fascinating talk!). If I can help with getting Plan-G to play nicely with the world's only viable desktop flight sim ( ;) ) I'd be happy to help!

By-the-way. One of the x-plane.org moderators is extremely rude. If you encounter him, please don't judge the whole community by the stupid comments of one curmudgeon...

I only  have one plan but am willing to test PG3 with X-Plane and I'll work on more plans.  Where do we send the plans.

Go to the top of the page where it says 'My Messages', select 'Send a message', and send it to me.
