Thanks Tim for the new PlanG version.

Still a lot to leren!

Two questions:

A. Terrain map was essential for planning low flights over the variable landscape.  Is there a way to change the map to include the Terrain option as it was in the previous version?

B. How can I convert my Trails TXT files into IGC files? (otherwise I'm losing all my Trail database).

Thanks

Sam

In Options you can change the map provider. Open Aerial and OpenCycleMap both show terrain information.

v3 will still read and display v2 TXT trail files.

Thanks Tim for your quick answer.

As for the Trail TXT file, I've tried to upload as for your advise, but unfortunately it didn't work.

Kindly look into the attached Log file.

Thanks

The log just shows it can't read the trail file. I don't know why you cant upload it - it's just a txt file: You can even open it in notepad and paste it into the message.

Hi Tim

I'm sending a TXT file, kindly check whether you can upload it.

Hi Tim

Good news and bad news.

With Build 47 the Breadcrumb Trail TXT file did appears as it should be.

However on both B47 and B46 the Breadcrumb Trail (TXT and IGC) displayed on "Disconnect" mode. Once I'm pressing the "Connect" botton (to be engaged with FSX) the Trail disappeared.
On "Connect" mode only new Trail (of an existing flight) can be shown, while its creating.

Thanks Sam I'll take a look.

For now though, connect first then open the trail..

Hi Tim

First Connect then open trail file = Trail not showing!

Just to clarify, although trail is not showing the Trail analysis altitude graph of the opened file do shows.
