Hello all,

A newbie to this forum so please be gentle with me.

I am running FS2004 with 8 monitors driven by 2 ATI HD6970 and 1 x HD4870 VGA Cards.

I notice that every time I select PlanG V2 the sound of FS2004 disappears ... ie NO atc, no engine noise etc. 
Is this normal?
If it is normal is there a way to display PlanG and keep, at least, the ATC.  More than once I have been immersed in PlanG and on return to FS i find that my flight plan has been cancelled due to non response to atc.

Annoying at worst because it is simple to reopen the flight plan but it is inconvenient as you can well imagine.

I have noticed in the forum that a few people are having problems with multiple monitors .... is this the cause of the problem?

It's normal. It's a limitation of FS: If you switch out of the program you lose the sound.

I was greatly afeared of this.  May well have to go network using wideview.
