Building Plan-G databases on a remote PC

Hello All,

I recently downloaded Plan-G and installed it on my PC running FSX. Now I would like to take advantage of a small laptop and I have installed Plan-G there.

The problem is that when I start Plan-G on the laptop, it asks me to build a database (assuming FSX is installed locally). I can think about two options:

1) sharing network drivers between the main PC and the laptop to allow Plan-G (on the laptop) to build its databases
2) copy over the databases created by the Plan-G (on the main PC) to the Plan-G (on the laptop)

is there a preferred option? Sorry for the stupid question.

Never Mind - I finally found the answer on the manual, it is either one or the other:

"You may find it simpler to install an extra copy of Plan‐G on your Flight Simulator PC and build the database(s) there. You can then copy the Plan‐G Files\Data folder across to your networked PC."

Happy New Year,

Paolo
