How do I pan the map?

Hi. Maybe I'm missing something really obvious, but while flight planning (just Plan-G open, no FSX), I can't find how to simply pan the map around to find places I'd like to fly. I can zoom in and out by scrolling the mouse wheel or using the +/- buttons, but no pan. Really frustrating...

Any ideas?
