I cannot put an airport into the plan using mouse right click

I appreciate that version 2 is no longer supported but can someone please help me.

Recently I found that when I put the mouse cursor onto an airport icon and right click, nothing happens except that the airport details are shown in the right side of the planner screen. This means that I cannot add the airport to the plan.  This problem also happens with version 0.9.  Is this the result of changes with Google Earth or is it something I have done?

I have tried reloading the software but I still have the problem.

I do not have this problem with version 3 but I prefer the maps in the earlier versions.

Any help will be much appreciated even if it is to tell me to scrap the earlier versions.

I suspect it's Google Maps.
