I am an old (72) German Plan-G and FS 2004 fan.
What we really need is the german Translationof the User Manual Version 3-1.062.
Mine is from November 2012.
Often announced, but nothing happens.

Hi Siegi,

Welcome here around. Who ever wants to undertake such a translation has really a lot to do. I know about the problems of some people to deal with English even in an environment where it definitely is the preferred language to communicate like in aviation. However, Plan-G is designed in a way making it usable by a user-interface providing different languages, including German. I can tell you, it works nice in a comparable environment with seniors in your age. I'm going to send to you a personal message here in the forum right now and it might happen that I can try to help you somehow.

Technical document translation is a very specialist (=expensive) activity, certainly way beyond what I could pay. And so I have to rely on the kindness of volunteers. The Plan-G manual is massive - 150 pages of A4, and while I've had several people offer to translate it, I don't think they appreciate the enormity of the task. Every time I've sent out the materials it goes very quiet and they disappear from the face of the earth.
