Hi

Just started trying Plan-G3 - excellent.
However, when I export a plan for X-Plane (fms) the file just shows dep and arr airports - all between waypoints are missing.
Everything is visible in the plg files and also in the printable pdf.

Please advise
Thanks/Regards

Hi

This is an update ... have now managed with the fms files - must have been a corruption on my part when emailing.

However ... when I put the plan into the FMC it does not show on the Navigation Display.
All the entries appear ok on the FMC except that the course from the dep airport (Brussels) to the first WP (BUB43) shows 188 degrees instead of 047 degrees so making the aircraft turn the wrong way. All the other courses are fine.

Any advice on this problem please. Have attached file.
Thanks/Regards
Terry

Only thing that springs immediately to mind is, are you using the same navigation database for both X-P and Plan-G? If they are out of sync you may experience issues if a waypoint has relocated.

Thanks your reply Tim much appreciated.
I think the problem was with the aircraft FMC as I tried it on another computer (windows instead of mac) and it worked.
So I am happy that it was not do do with your excellent programme.
Thanks again

That could simply be a matter of the difference in the way mac/Windows interprets line feeds. Try opening the exported plan in TextEdit, and make sure there are no blank lines, then save it.

(important that you save it with TextEdit, since that'll force it to have the Mac line endings)

Ah! OK Tim thanks for that - had not given that one a thought.
Much appreciated
