Hello Tim My name is Myk    I have on the recommendation of Pete Allnut, downloaded your new flight planner G-Plan and have run the database in FSX. And when I try to get the programme to find an airport, it will find it. But when I click onto the OK button, I am getting a message that the programme has stopped working and closes. I do not know what is causing the crash, any ideas.

I am running an Acer computer with Intel Core 2 Duo E6400, 2 GB DDR2 Ram, ATI Radeon X1650SE graphics 1024mb, and Vista Home Premium. And 19'' LCD Screen.

Many thanks   Myk

Hi Myk

Can you send me the log file? It's called Plan-G_Log.txt, and you'll find it in the folder where you installed Plan-G.

You say it crashed when you clicked OK. Was this immediately, or did the map also move to show your airport? Also, how did you use the dialog? Did you type in the ICAO, name or city, or did you scroll the list? Did you reorder the list (clicking on the column headings)?
Thanks

Tim,  may I say firstly that I feel a right dunderhead  :-[ . It turned out to be as simple as, firstly letting my Firefox to allow it and then, secondly for my firewall to allow for internet two-way communication to happen.  And I can report  WOWthis is just what we have been needing for some time. This a very uncomplicated planner that really does work for likes of the simple like me. ;)  A very good friend has been telling me, to wait for this to be released and BOY was he not wrong.

On behalf of myself can I please say a very big thank you for this invalueable programme.    Myk
