Zoom function suggestion

I really like this program which  fills the void left by FS nav. There is one thing that I miss though, it is the FS nav right click zoom function with which you could select an area of interest. Would it be possible to have it with planG?

I agree that would be nice, yankeegolf.

Tim Arnot would be better placed to respond, but I think we are limited to the functionalities of the Google Maps interface and API.

There's not a simple way to do it, and I'm niot sure the result would be worth the effort
