Emile,

Actually, I don't have any idea what happens there. I just opened both ZIP-files in my browser one by one (no real download) and the respective read-me file did show the bundled version correctly. I can confirm nonetheless that both files are containing wrong text passages not belonging to the related version. I already informed Tim and he reacted three days ago but obviously seems to be occupied by other business. The Win7-installer itself worked perfectly for me. However, I didn't take care for the final window of the installer...

EDIT: I checked again the file sizes of both version against your picture and it's definitely the correct version for your operating system.

Axel

Hello Emile!

Any chance you have your windows set to xp compatibility mode?  Also, did you uninstall the prior version? Also install as Administrator?

Hopefully Tim will have some insight on the installers.

Hello Vic,
How are you ? ;D
Happy 2015.

How can I set (or check) my Win 7 to compatibility  XP?

I will uninstall Plan G and reinstall it with only the "as administrator"
I'll feed back.

Emile,

That's a feature you will find after right clicking an executable and selecting the properties. Select Compatibility and check whether XP is marked. If you havn't done it yourself it's quite unlikely that the proggy is running in this mode.

Good Luck!

Emile

Solved,
I must have selected this XP Compatibility for a previous installation.
Thanks to all
