just wanted to say to the developer, thank you for the product and I'm using it for my X-Plane flights.  On my youtube channel at dionm01 or Dion Markgraf.  I promote Plan G in my videos.
So I have a question, is there a feature in Plan G that the user (me) can input two airports like with "Quick Plan" but instead of just a direct line between point A in point B it would generate a flight plan based on your position and calculate all the VOR's, ADF's, and so on, so you can follow the flight path accordingly.  I strictly use Plan G for my VFR flights.  I chose to use VOR system that way it helps me stay away from restricted airspace.  I know it's lazy, but hey, what can I say.  I noticed as well when I use open street maps as the map to display, Plan G shows the restricted airspaces.  When I use the other options in the setup, the airspace is do not appear.  I'm strictly using Plan G for X-Plane.  And I've rebuilt the database a few times in trying to troubleshoot the issue but it doesn't work.  It works with open streets which is fine, it's not a big deal.
So I just wanna say thank you for your product and I look forward to new features that you'll probably add in future builds.
Thanks again,

Thanks for the comments - I'll check out your channel.

Plan-G does allow you to type enroute waypoints in the QuickPlan dialog, but it won't automatically generate a route for you. That's a philosophical thing, not just me being lazy and not writing the code. ;) The point of planning a route is that you know where you are going and why. Auto-generated routes are the reason so many cars drive blindly into swamps and over cliffs, and I wouldn't want you to accidentally fly off the end of the world because my autoroute algorithm was a bit rubbish...

I don't know why you're not seeing airspaces (are these imported from FSX? Cos I haven't done the X-Plane airspace module yet, unless I was coding in my sleep!), but it shouldn't have anything to do with the map provider - they're different subsystems. Have a look at the log file - maybe it shows the problem.

Thank you very much for your reply, I would check out the log file when I get home.

Yeah, I use the X-Plane build database icon.  So when I did that function I assumed a airspaces were coming from that action.  When I do use open streets, the airspaces forest areas shaded in green appear on the map.  Again, it's no big deal I strictly use X-Plane now anyway.

I decided to spend my simulation money on X-Plane Products.  Regrettably I cannot afford both FSXSE & X-Plane at the same time.  I had to pick one or the other, flight simulation is an excellent hobby and flight is always been my main interest since the early 1970s when I was a kid watching the U.S.  Navy Blue Angels here in the states.  Watching them practice maneuvers at Miramar naval air station in San Diego California.
Just never had the Financial Resources to be able to fly for real.  Now that I'm approaching 50 years old, it may be a little too late to start now even if I had the Financial Resources to do so.  So, that's why I do simulation instead.

I appreciate you checking out my Youtube channel, I decided to do a series of videos where as I'm flying in real time from one destination to another using X-Plane and my Mitsubishi MU 2 60B.  These flights consist of the theme of major freeways in the USA.  The intent is to share my experience with the people who would like to watch the flights as they happened at the time of recording.  I also mix music in stream, just to make it not so boring for the people who would think so.  And of course, I got in trouble with Twitch with my twitch channel twitch.tv/dionsol2, because their nervous about the music playing in the background even know the engine noise and my commentary distorts enough in my opinion that nobody would want to lift the music audio from my stream.  So their Computer System decided to silence into parts of videos after streamed.  Oh well, im not going to lose any sleep over it.  I did file an appeal but I don't expect it to go anywhere, so the bulk of my flights will consist on youtube because they don't care, especially when the music used is from their service in the first place. What inspired me to do this at a simulation capacity was the gentleman who took his real Mitsubishi MU 2 solitaire and flew around the world.  So I thought I would do it on a smaller scale and on a simulation platform by flying all the major U.S. highways via, the VOR system.  Which gives me something to do while flying them.

What attracts me to simulation, is it allows me to go to places that I will never go to in my lifetime, no matter if it's down the street or around the world.  This is what makes flight simulation in my opinion the best of the best.  I can go on and on and talk your leg off (LOL).

So again thank you very much for taking the time to reply, and I will check out my log file.
