After a lot of trial and error I was finally able to get my user waypoints imported.  Since the user waypoints do not display an identifier, how do I find them if I want to use them in a new flight plan?  I tried going to Home/Find/User Waypoints and then typing in the identifier, but the waypoint is not shown.  When I open the Waypoint manager, the waypoint is listed.

Have a look under tab "Map".
Did you activate all necessary elements in section "User Waypoints"?
