"Floating Waypoint" not in Flight Plan

Hi,

My first post to this forum.

Question: Is it possible to enter a Waypoint in a plan in such a way that it does not form part of the route, but will be displayed on the map (off to one side of the Route on the map), and also exported to FSX? In my "real" aircraft I used to be able to do this - it was called a "floating" waypoint.

No. FSX cannot handle waypoints that are not part of a plan. In Plan-G you can create VRPs in various flavours, but they won't transfer to FSX unless they are in a plan.
