How do I get plan-g to work with microsoft flight simulator x steam edition?

I have mine working ok, you need to know that whereas the original FSX lived in [Host Drive]:/FSX, you will find the steam version in [Host Drive]:/Steam/steamapps/common/FSX

I pointed it to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX and it worked.  Thank you

I've a new computer (Win 10)and have now had to get FSX Steam edition.  I been able to point Plan-G to steam OK. I've built the FSX database but nothing happens when I click on the Connect button at the top of the home screen.  Any suggestions?

Are you trying to connect through FSUIPC or Simconnect?

Further from my last I found that I had missed clicking FSUIPC in Options/FS Connection under File.
