This is my first post - more a cry for help really. Apologies if this is in the wrong place. I have both FS9and FSX(steam edition) and have used Plan-G with both. I have been a flight simmer for a long time time, but only recently started to take it more seriously using flight plans etc. I did have fairly up to date scenery/charts etc and my local airport - Doncaster sheffield showed an ILS in both fs9 and fsx. I don't know what I've done, but it no longer shows it in the fs9 database. As I prefer fs9 for serious flying - I have PMDG aircraft - this is a problem. Can anyone explain to me how I can go about recovering the ILS for Doncaster Sheffield. Thank you in anticipation.
Cheers

You need to make sure that the scenery containing the ILS (UK2000 at a guess?) is active in the scenery library, and then build a new database. Plan-G should pick it up.

Another possibility is that you have the database for FSX active and maybe that doesn't have the airport scenery installed? (in which case, just switch databases). Plan-G doesn't care what database you're using against what sim, but there's the possibility that sim and Plan-G won't match up if you're using something different.

Thanks Tim for your swift reply. I have  tried 'moving' scenery files in FS9, but my knowledge of such things is very limited. No matter what I did didn't seem to change the data associated with FS9. The problem seems to be that the ILS was not there when the FS9 software was produced and I don't really know enough about the files to be able to correct this.
I have though had a try using the FSX database with my FS9 sim and it does seem to give no problems, so that will have to do. Your software is excellent and I llok forward to exploring it further.
Again, many thanks for your help.
